Services Offered

  • Tests and treatments for all STI’s including: Chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas vaginalis, non-specific urethritis, HIV/AIDS including health adviser support, syphilis, hepatitis B (testing only).
  • Quick Test service designed for anyone who has NO symptoms and just requires a check-up.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of genital herpes, warts and thrush.
  • Health promotion and safe sex advice
  • Emergency contraception and referral for pregnancy counseling
  • Same day HIV tests for high-risk individuals
  • Services and information for sexual assault victims
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Free condoms and treatment

Specialist clinics

  • Specialist HIV department and support
  • Special clinics for recurrent problems such as thrush or herpes
  • Genital dermatology clinic – including minor surgery/biopsies.
  • Family planning service – dedicated session at Whittall Street Monday evening 3.30pm-6.00pm run by family planning staff or we will refer to another appropriate service e.g. Brook, Family Planning service elsewhere or GP.
