Under 16’s

If you are under 16 you can still use any of our clinics. We will not turn someone away because they are under the age of consent (the age at which you can legally agree to having sex).

We do not share your information with anyone unless we believe you are in danger. If you are under 16, we want to make sure you aren’t under any pressure to have sex, that you understand how to have safer sex, understand when you are at risk of infections, and what will happen to you at the clinic.

If we ever need to share information we will always discuss this with you before we do it.

As well as our daily clinics at Whittall Street, if you are under 21 you can come to our HYPe+ clinic at Whittal Street.

You can book an appointment or just drop in between 3.30pm and 6.00pm on a Monday at Whittal Street and ask at reception for the Hype+ clinic.

At HYPe+ We offer:

  • Quick testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Free treatment for STI’s
  • Contraception (including free condoms and lube)
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Advice about sex and relationships
  • Help stopping smoking
  • Advice about Drugs, Alcohol, Eating Problems, and other health problems
